A-bomb Dome Soundness Survey

To accurately apprehend the condition of the A-bomb Dome, the City of Hiroshima will conduct a thorough soundness investigation, including the development of cracks or breaks and the degree of sinking or settling. The scaffolding for this survey will be in place from December 14th to mid-March. 

As a general rule, we have been conducting these surveys every three years since fiscal 1992, so this is the seventh time. We apologize for the dome’s temporarily altered appearance. Thank you for your understanding.
