Implementation of Push Notifications About the Former Bank of Japan Hiroshima Branch via Free Wi-Fi at the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum

The City of Hiroshima offers a free public LAN service called “Hiroshima Free Wi-Fi (HFW)” in various public facilities and sightseeing places in Hiroshima, including the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum.

At the Dome and the Museum, push notifications (automatic notifications) of information on the former Bank of Japan Hiroshima Branch, an A-bombed building, will be initiated for “Adventure Travel on the Wi-Fi” app users beginning Friday, July 22, 2016. The bank building is an invaluable historical heritage which conveys the former bank’s history of economic support for the reconstruction of Hiroshima. If you visit Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome, we also strongly recommend that you visit the bank building since it is located within walking distance.

If you would like to receive push notifications of relevant information on your smartphone, please download the app, “Adventure Travel on the Wi-Fi”.
