In many units of the Maritime Self-Defense Force, every Friday, the lunch is curry. It is delicious and nutritious for the health of the team. You can get the same curry in the eateries in Kure City if you ask for Kure Kaiji Curry. There are different recipes for each unit, and it will be fun to try them all until you find your particular favorite. Curry is also sold in pouches at souvenir shops.
