Hiroshima's ski season has arrived!
Hiroshima Prefecture plays host to many of the best authentic ski resorts in western Japan.
Each of these ski resorts not only have a variety of courses to everyone from beginners to experts, they also have kids' parks where children can play on sleds and with the snow, as well as ski slopes for the entire family.
They are also equipped with restrooms, powder rooms, and other facilities sure to delight families with children and female visitors.
The ski slopes with artificial snowmaking machines allow for skiing and snowboarding to be enjoyed under the best possible conditions. (However, due to the warm winter this year, the number of ski resorts open and the number of courses where skiing is possible are limited.)
It is possible to rent skiwear (except gloves and hats), skis, and snowboards. The slopes are accessible from Hiroshima City. With ski buses, it's even easier for anybody to go skiing.
