Ceramic Art Experience (Takehara City)

Overview

Takehara retains streetscapes from the Edo period in its Townscape Preservation District.
The Tokobo Fudo workshop in this old townscape offers the chance to try your hand at making pottery.

Try your hand at creating bowls from clay.

2. Painting
Paint your own picture on a bowl.

Whatever you create will be fired in the kiln at Tokobo Fudo once it's complete.
